This Porter is a nod to the tradition of ales carrying its name. If you know us, you’ve probably already guessed that our version makes the most of local, small batch ingredients. We’re plumbing the depths of malt and roast character with this one.

The attention to detail and artisanal approach in every batch of craft malt from Virginia-grown grain translates to unique, three dimensional flavors in the glass.

Mister Harwood’s layered grist is balanced by just the right amount of hop bitterness and balanced finish, so you’ll find yourself coming back for another.

We recommend enjoying it cool, but not cold. Let that flavor open up! A “slow-gressive” pour down the middle of the glass over a couple of minutes to create a lovely foam cap will make it even better.

Seems just the beer for the weeks ahead as we begin to cozy up next to a fire here on the farm. It’s available on draft and in cans to-go.
