Time is ingredient masquerading as method.

We took 100% Virginia grain — nearly half is grain we regenerately grew on this farm — and open fermented the beer in 2021. Lager and lacto and brett. Oh, my!

For the second leg of its journey, this sour red ale spent years barrel aging until 2025 when we bottled it, beginning its third and final leg of conditioning.
